Ces aires ont été compilées et numérisées par le MDDELCC sur la base des rapports et cartes fournies par les municipalités. Selon la clientèle desservie par le prélèvement, il peut s’agir d’aires délimitées par des distances fixées par le RPEP ou encore d’aires délimitées par des professionnels en hydrogéologie. Pour les prélèvements existants au 14 août 2014, soit avant l’entrée en vigueur du RPEP, les aires de protection peuvent avoir été délimitées en vertu de l’article 25 de l’ancien Règlement sur le captage des eaux souterraines (RCES). Les critères de délimitation étaient toutefois similaires à ceux du RPEP.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Mise en garde&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Les aires de protection contenues dans cette couche ont été numérisées par le MDDELCC à partir de documents transmis par les municipalités ce qui a pour effet que la qualité de la numérisation est variable (notamment en fonction de l’échelle des cartes utilisées).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;De plus, lors de la numérisation, la méthodologie utilisée pour la délimitation des aires n’a pas été validée par le Ministère. , Cette couche est présentée à titre indicatif et ne peut prétendre être exhaustive et à jour. Ainsi, il est possible que certaines aires de protection soient manquantes ou désuètes. Pour toute application règlementaire ou toute autre activité nécessitant de connaître les aires de protection effectives, il importe de vérifier leur existence et leur localisation auprès du responsable du prélèvement d’eau.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Il est à noter que les aires de protection des prélèvements d’eau de surface exigées en vertu des articles 70, 72 et 74 du RPEP n’ont pas été compilées parce que peu d’entre elles avaient été délimitées au moment de la compilation.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</idAbs>
